Communications Nova Scotia: The Fair Care Project
If our healthcare system doesn’t have data on patients’ race, we can’t identify problems and we can’t serve the unique needs of our communities. Therefore, the Health Race-Based Data Initiative aims to collect Nova Scotian’s racial identifiers so we can identify and address inequities.
Sometimes it doesn’t take much to make a big change. A simple line on a form can make all the difference in equitable healthcare.
